“Making You Extraordinary” is Award Winning photographer Zahrina Robertson of Zahrina Photography.

In a whirlwind 5 years since beginning her Sydney based business, Zahrina has been nominated as Telstra Business Woman of the Year, become a professional speaker on the topic of Authentic Connection via Branding Photography held several successful exhibitions of her images, worked regularly with high profile business people and celebrities and counts Tourism Australia and Qantas among her regular clients.

Zahrina specializes in Digital Branding for Entrepreneurs, capturing their X-Factor as she creates insightful images to best represent their business in the social media and online world.  Her authentic approach brings out the best in her clients as she gets to know them behind their public persona, capturing their true essence and X-Factor.

Behind Zahrina’s professional success lies a story of personal heartache.  Always enjoying a close relationship with her father, Zahrina was devastated when he passed away suddenly from cancer, only 15 days after diagnosis.  Completely overcome by grief, it was through this frightening and confronting experience that she discovered a renewed approach to photography.  With this new found respect for life and understanding of the legacy that beautiful photography can leave, Zahrina found she was gaining results that were truly unique and which her clients loved.

A graduate from the Australian Centre for Photography and Marketing, Zahrina’s passion for photography shines through in her work and her authentic connection is seen in her clients.  Whether it’s Entrepreneurs, Women in Business, Corporates, weddings, family, Zahrina has the natural ability to set her apart from pack in this competitive industry.

The turning point in her professional photographic career occurred with her “Australian Icons” Exhibition.  A series of black and white portraits lovingly captured on her medium format 6×4.5inch film camera. The phenomenal response to this exhibition cemented Zahrina Photography as an industry benchmark.

Zahrina continues to give back to the community and as recent winner of the Commonwealth Bank Women in Focus essay competition; Zahrina will soon travel to the Northern Territory to volunteer for a week in a remote Aboriginal community with the Moriarty Foundation. This journey will be the catalyst for a series of presentations and photographic limited edition book, sharing her experience.

Newly appointed in August 2012, as the Official Judge for the Capture The Cover Photographic Competition for The Yellow Pages. Zahrina will be seen in the media as the voice + eyes for the community of images takers…
